Sure, everyone knows that Jason Segel has written an upcoming Muppet movie, but now we know the title! Based on an idea of Jim Henson's back in 1985, the new film will be called The Cheapest Muppet Movie Ever Made. The movie will center around our heroes putting on a show to save Muppet Studios from a greedy oil tycoon.
Dennis Haskins, Mr. Belding to you and me, apparently likes to make the rounds at Los Angeles karaoke clubs. And what's the next best thing to seeing Belding belting out the hits in an L.A. bar? Hearing and watching this CD/DVD of Haskins performing some of his favorite songs. Tunes like "School's Out", "Brown Eyed Girl" and "Piano Man". Sounds like the album of the year.
We here at Scooped! are sad to announce the heartless bludgeoning of everybody's favorite teenage basketball-playing werewolf. MTV has announced it is developing a pilot based the classic Michael J. Fox movie Teen Wolf. At least they're not making a movie. No need to add cell phones or Dane Cook to that gem. Here's to hoping it turns out to be this generation's Saved By The Bell! Scooped!
Huffington post has reported directly to Scooped! that The Today Show has hired former first or second daughter Jenna Bush as a correspondent. She will report once a month on topics she is no doubt qualified to discuss. I have nothing but the utmost confidence she'll do a bang up job. Of course that didn't work out for the last member of her family who was given a job they weren't qualified for.
Boy, we've got a hot one here at Scoop Central! GaGa! Bolton! Some may say this is an odd couple. I would disagree. Both were the pre-eminent, vacuous spectacles of their day. She with her bubble dress and he with his hair. But now they've joined forces on the song "Murder My Heart" from Bolton's upcoming album. It's as good as it sounds y'all. Check it out!
